You’ve probably heard the old adage, “red wine with red meat, white wine with white meat. But is fish considered white meat? What about salmon — it’s pink! Pork isn’t white meat the way chicken is. And what about fruit, pasta or vegetable dishes? If Chardonnay is different from Pinot Grigio — which white wine with white meat? It gets pretty complicated really fast!

Life is complicated enough as it is. Wine shouldn’t be! At Meridian, we believe that the only rule when it comes to pairing food and wine is whether or not you enjoy the combination.
