An integral part of Meridian Vineyards since 2000, Julie Domingos hit the ground running and never slowed down. Julie’s role as Meridian’s Hospitality Manager encompasses a broad range of responsibilities, including event programs, advertising plans, tasting room operations, and local marketing. However, her main focus is to encourage wine lovers – from novices to aficionados – to visit Meridian and enjoy our fine Paso Robles wines. It’s due in part to her tireless efforts that Meridian’s tasting room has maintained a reputation for warm hospitality and excellent value.
A proud graduate of California Polytechnic State University at San Luis Obispo with a concentration in the wine and hospitality industry, Julie serves on the board of directors for the Wineries of Highway 46 East Association. Her current favorite wines are Meridian’s 2007 Limited Release Chardonnay and 2006 Club Cuvée.
Over four years ago, Laurie Miller got her start at Meridian as an on-call Hospitality Specialist in our tasting room. She quickly moved up the ranks and was soon promoted to her current role. As Special Events Supervisor, Laurie is responsible for planning and executing special events and weddings at Meridian. She works closely with prospective brides and grooms to create beautiful weddings and memories to last a lifetime.
Of all of Meridian’s very special events, her favorite to produce and attend is our annual Fourth of July Celebration, which features fine wine, live music, dancing, and a fabulous fireworks display over the vineyard. She also travels to numerous local tastings, events, and festivals, where she promotes Meridian and our selection of incredible Limited Release wines.
